Guinea Jubilee Parade Entry Form
Parade Date – Saturday, September 26, 2026
NOTE: NEW START TIME
Parade Route:
The parade will begin at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church in Achilles and will end at the Abingdon Ruritan Club festival grounds in Bena. The parade is approximately one (1) mile long so plan accordingly.
The road will promptly close at 11:00AM for the duration of the parade, so plan accordingly.
Line-up & Judging:
Line-up will be in the parking lot behind Union Baptist Church. Personnel will be on-hand to check you in and direct you to your line-up position. No Parking at Union Baptist Church.
All units should be at parade line-up no later than 9:00am
- Fire units will be judged from 10:00am to 10:45am.Â
- All other units will be judged during the parade.
- Fire Awards given will be:
Engine – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque, 3rd Place Framed Certificate
Aerial – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque
Tanker/Tender – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque
Brush Unit – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque, 3rd Place Framed Certificate
Ambulance Unit – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque, 3rd Place Framed Certificate
Specialty Unit – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque, 3rd Place Framed Certificate
Antique Unit – 1st Place Trophy, 2nd Place Plaque

Directions to Parade:
From South of Gloucester….
Follow Route 17 North to the Coleman Bridge. Cross the Coleman Bridge into Gloucester (don’t forget the toll). Turn right at the light onto Guinea Road (just past Taco Bell on your right; you will also see Walgreens on your left). Go approximately 4 miles. Union Baptist Church will be located on your right.
From North of Gloucester…
Follow Route 17 South to Gloucester. Turn left onto Guinea Road (at stop light you’ll see Walgreens on your right). Go approximately 4 miles. Union Baptist Church will be located on your right.

The Guinea Jubilee Festival starts on Friday with music, craft vendors, and the fabulous seafood for which Guinea famous! Saturday morning begins with a Run/Walk, the parade, more food, and music all day. And you won’t want to miss FIREWORKS on SATURDAY NIGHT!!
